| August 10, 2007 "Look at God’s incredible waste of His saints, according to the world’s
judgment. God seems to plant His saints in the most useless places. And
then we say, "God intends for me to be here because I am so useful to
Him." Yet Jesus never measured His life by how or where He was of the
greatest use. God places His saints where they will bring the most
glory to Him, and we are totally incapable of judging where that may be." -Oswald Chambers-
Who am I to assume that I know better than the Lord? I have plans of greatness that I ask God to bless, when I should be on my knees asking God to reveal His greatness to me! My prayer should be one of "God lead me every step of the way into the work that You have planned, and let me be used of you in the place and way that You determine."
This life is not my own.

| I don't have long to update, but I've got to say that yesterday was amazing! We started the day with a visit and tour of Focus on the Family. Whit's End and Adventures in Odyssey were the families favorites. Our family grew up listening to Odyssey, so it was neat to see where it all happens. Next we headed for Pikes Peak, and took a Cog Railway up to the summit. It was one of the most beautiful sights I have ever seen! It was a clear, 90 degree day at the bottom of the mountain. Once we reached the snow capped peak, it was probably around 50 degrees and you could see for miles. I took dozens of pictures, and was in awe the whole three hour trip of the magnificence of God's creation. Lastly we enjoyed dinner and a cowboy concert... at the Flying W Ranch. That was some of the best eating I've done in a while, and they really know how to put on a show. The day was fun for the whole family, and lots of new memories made.

| I guess I could post something since it's been a couple days since my last post... . My family and I are on a 13 day road trip out West! We are in Colorado Springs right now, and tomorrow we're going to see Focus on the Family & Pikes Peak. I have never been this far West before, and it's certainly new country. Our hotel is at the base of Pikes Peak and the Rocky Mountains, and the sight is AWESOME! God's creation leaves you speechless sometimes (and for those of you who know me, that is a miracle in itself). It's so good to be with the family again after three years at Verity. I'll be working at home for a while, and seeking the Lord about the next step. I feel as though I'm at a crossroads, and could go in any direction. I just want to start out in the RIGHT direction. God is good.
